I needed a root canal, filling, and crown. I was FREAKING out for 2 weeks leading up to the procedure. Anxiety was at an all time high.....I can't express enough how comfortable I felt only minutes into the procedure. They numbed me first with a topical ointment that tasted like butt. After, Dr. Gahndi came in with the local anesthetic (which I was dreading), and I hardly felt a thing (I let out a sigh after the 1st injection, but I'm a wimp). Once the drilling started it seemed like it might get worse the deeper he drilled but if not for the vibration of the tool, I could've fallen asleep. There was a 50% chance my tooth could be saved and sure enough, Dr. Gahndi was able to save it. He was able to do my root canal, filling, and crown prep all within 4 hours and now I'm home. They prescribed me motrin for the pain and amoxicilin to prevent infection but the pain is minimal. I joined the military at 18 and was ready to die......now I'm 31 with kids and a wife and have never been more terrified in my life for anything. It was unwarranted fear and if you're reading these reviews to convince yourself you'll be OK (like I did) I can assure you, you'll leave here saying "that wasn't bad at all". God bless you all!

They are awesome. We were visiting from Florida when my husband lost a crown. Called and they got us in the next day. We were in and out in an hour. Friendly staff.

There are not enough words to express how blessed I am to have had my wonderful doctor(Dr. Sasha Mahabir), (his amazing assistant - Sarah) and their staff! Without them I could of never made it! They saved my life! I will forever be greatful! Early Sunday morning my husband took me to the hospital. I was in the worst, excruciating pain in my life! The bottom and upper part of my jaw felt like someone was litterly punching me in my jaw, temple and head. Non-stop. There was nothing that would take the pain away. The radiologist and doctor came out after they read the results of the catscan and said to my husband, you need to take her straight to the dentist ASAP and have these two teeth extracted. Her results do not look good. By the time we left the hospital it was Monday morning. They discharged me and we drove straight to SOUTH FRIENDSWOOD DENTAL! I barely could walk in. My husband helped me get in and the staff took me back immediately for surgery. I will forever be grateful to my doctor,his assistant and staff. Without them, their bedside manner and patience through this whole process saved my life! Thank you again for everything and the continued support through this. May God bless you all!

They did what they had to do to get the tooth out, pulled that bad boy and I didn’t feel any pain on some slight pressure. The doctor and the nurse went over everything I needed to know for the treatment and how to take care of the area the tooth was removed from. Thanks! Looking forward for the rest of my treatments!

Everyone in the dental office has great customer service. The woman at the front desk are quick and helpful when making an appointment. Appointment reminders are very helpful as well.

Recently got my lower wisdoms extracted. I was very nervous because both were impacted. Dr. Gandhi was very informative and gentle from the beginning. Priscilla was so professional and helpful during the preoperative process. The procedure went flawless and she had a very quick recovery. In addition we had an emergency two weeks later and my 80-year-old mother experienced a very painful broken tooth. Dr. Gandhi was extremely concerned and helpful. He provided pre-medications and fit her into his schedule in a very timely manner to help eliminate her distress and pain. We are very thankful we have Dr. Gandhi and his kind staff available to manage our dental needs. Absolutely the most amazing and talented people all in one building. The ladies at front are so professional and they always make sure I know exactly what work I need to do first instead of trying to have me spend a bunch of money that isn't necessary. Amaris is the best she has been there at the practice for over 15 + years just so kind and a smile every time.

I'm glad I have a dentist now I can trust and go to in my community where I live and work.

On the first day I went in for a cleaning and a consultation regarding the extractions. Dr Ghandi was an absolute delightful individual. He took the time to go step by step on all that needed to be done, showing me the x rays so I could understand completely. He even cleaned my teeth since the higenist was out of the office. I'm sure he could sense my anxiety and made sure to customize a wonderful pre-op plan to put me at ease. The day of the surgery went as smooth as can be. His staff goes beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Post op was a breeze. My pain was well managed, and following his instructions have left me problem free. I waited so long to have this procedure simply out of fear. If you're looking for a great dentist whom will treat you like you're family Dr. Ghandi is your man.

The whole crew at South Friendswood Dental is phenomenal. They are as nice and professional as can be. During my procedure, my pain was virtually nonexistent and I felt minimal pain the next day. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Excellent office and Dr. Ghandi is top notch! I happen to have stumbled apon this office because I was having a dental emergency. I called and was seen as a new patient right away. Upon entering the practice I felt the waiting area was nicely appointed and comforting with plenty of indivual seating. There was also flat screen TV and many choices if magazines to look thru. I was immediately greeted by Angie the office manger and other very friendly office staff. Was also handed all neccesarrly paperwork. Once in a room I was introduced to Flora, a dental assistant who was very kind, comforting and knowledgable. She immediately took X-rays so as too not waste time. Dr. Ghandi then came in and welcomed me and went over my history and his findings. Everything was explained to me in detail and there was even a estimate of my portion of cost after ins for what needed to be done. Was happy to know up front! Dr. Ghandi was efficient yet delicate and I never felt a thing, well except for the numbing shot but that's totally unavoidable. I was in and out of pain in 11/2 hours. The doctor even called me the next day to follow up. That was Two years ago and have been with them ever since. They are also wonderful to my 4 children and have a great play area to keep a watchful eye on them. I have never met a friendlyer office or doctor. Great location too!

exceptional customer service Everyone in the office is very nice and considerate. They are Very good about informing you of all your options and present you with a treatment plan. I have never had to wait more than 2 or 3 minutes to be called back into the chair. They did all the research for me to find out exactly what my insurance covered. My emergency visit I had an issue this past weekend, my tooth simply started to throb! Nothing would stop the pain! I called South Friendswood Dental and they shuffled me in and resolved the pain. My follow up visit report I went in for the initial visit leaving extremely happy with the staff at Friendswood Dental. The second visit was just as pleasing as they fit my temporary crowns. Dr, Gandhi Has Warm Hands While the dentist's office is not at the top of the places I like to visit, I have found South Friendswood Dental to be both professional and pleasant. In addition to warm hands, Dr. Gandhi sometimes even chuckles at my attempts to use humor to relieve the self-imposed angst I experience while in the chair.

South Friendswood Dental has the friendliest and most efficient staff I have ever experienced in a dental office. I came in with an emergency abscess tooth and they took great care of me immediately and on a holiday weekend. They stayed will past their scheduled time that day to make sure I was able to have pain relief until my next visit. They have worked with my financial situation and are always friendly and courteous. Treat yourself by visiting these fine folks in Friendswood.

Great Patient Care I was amazed they could fit me in for an emergency broken crown and cavity. I was in some discomfort and needed to see a dentist close to my work. I walked in at 9:15 and Dr. Mahabir started evaluating my pain and tooth problem at 9:30. I felt little to no pain during all the procedures. I liked the carefull attention to cleanliness and patient comfort. I highly recommend SFD to anyone who is a little scared of dentists or who have had bad experiences. I'm glad I have a dentist now I can trust and go to in my community where I live and work.

Satisfying Your establishment was clean warm and friendly surroundings.
Thankful Being new to the area with some painful dental work that needed to be addressed asap, I cold called SFD for help, they got me in right away! Finding the office was easy and there was plenty of parking. Upon arrival the office staff greeted me and was prepared with paperwork. As I filled it out I noticed how comforting the waiting area felt, plenty of currant magazines, large flat screen tv, calming rich colors. Once ready they brought me back, introduced themselves, asked what had brought me in, did a history, blood pressure check, and took x-rays. Then Dr. G came in, shook my hand, and asked what was going on so he could help. He explained to me my course of action and was prepared to follow through immediately. :) The office staff was very efficient and had a financial advisor come in with a print out of all the procedures, charges, insurance contribution, and then my portion which they explained could be broken up. I really liked this as dental work is not cheap and I'd rather know the costs upfront. As the work began Dr. G and his assistant worked in unicine to complete the work, all the while asking how I was doing. The job ended up being worse then he thought but he was hopeful and kind. I have terrible teeth and I am seriously embarrassed by them, in fact if I could change one thing it would be my teeth. The Dr never made me feel bad, he concentrated on how to help with confidence and care. SFD will be my new dental office, many thanks for all their help!!

Great Cracked the crowns on my front teeth and I needed to get replacements since I had a 3 week business trip in a few days. They got me in and I had temporary crowns within 2 hours. Perment crowns will be put on after my trip. Thanks Dr. Gandhi :)

Very professional and organized I was very nervous when I got there but the dental assistent took very good care of me and did a wonderful job preparing me for the procedure. I had 2 root canals done on my front two teeth(very sensitive area), however the Dentist was effecient and gentle. The whole process took maybe 2 hrs.
The Doctor and his Staff are Always professional, polite and very friendly. I liken my appointments to just having visited a very exclusive Five Star Hotel. You feel very well taken care of and all questions or concerns are addressed on the spot. I like that very much.

I needed a root canal, filling, and crown. I was FREAKING out for 2 weeks leading up to the procedure. Anxiety was at an all time high.....I can't express enough how comfortable I felt only minutes into the procedure. They numbed me first with a topical ointment that tasted like butt. After, Dr. Gahndi came in with the local anesthetic (which I was dreading), and I hardly felt a thing (I let out a sigh after the 1st injection, but I'm a wimp). Once the drilling started it seemed like it might get worse the deeper he drilled but if not for the vibration of the tool, I could've fallen asleep. There was a 50% chance my tooth could be saved and sure enough, Dr. Gahndi was able to save it. He was able to do my root canal, filling, and crown prep all within 4 hours and now I'm home. They prescribed me motrin for the pain and amoxicilin to prevent infection but the pain is minimal. I joined the military at 18 and was ready to die......now I'm 31 with kids and a wife and have never been more terrified in my life for anything. It was unwarranted fear and if you're reading these reviews to convince yourself you'll be OK (like I did) I can assure you, you'll leave here saying "that wasn't bad at all". God bless you all!

There are not enough words to express how blessed I am to have had my wonderful doctor(Dr. Sasha Mahabir), (his amazing assistant - Sarah) and their staff! Without them I could of never made it! They saved my life! I will forever be greatful! Early Sunday morning my husband took me to the hospital. I was in the worst, excruciating pain in my life! The bottom and upper part of my jaw felt like someone was litterly punching me in my jaw, temple and head. Non-stop. There was nothing that would take the pain away. The radiologist and doctor came out after they read the results of the catscan and said to my husband, you need to take her straight to the dentist ASAP and have these two teeth extracted. Her results do not look good. By the time we left the hospital it was Monday morning. They discharged me and we drove straight to SOUTH FRIENDSWOOD DENTAL! I barely could walk in. My husband helped me get in and the staff took me back immediately for surgery. I will forever be grateful to my doctor,his assistant and staff. Without them, their bedside manner and patience through this whole process saved my life! Thank you again for everything and the continued support through this. May God bless you all!

The staff was very friendly. I came in for a tooth extraction. The Doctor and his assistant made sure I didn’t feel any discomfort. They did what they had to do to get the tooth out, pulled that bad boy and I didn’t feel any pain on some slight pressure. The doctor and the nurse went over everything I needed to know for the treatment and how to take care of the area the tooth was removed from. Thanks! Looking forward for the rest of my treatments!

Everyone in the dental office has great customer service. The woman at the front desk are quick and helpful when making an appointment. Appointment reminders are very helpful as well.

Recently got my lower wisdoms extracted. I was very nervous because both were impacted. Dr. Gandhi was very informative and gentle from the beginning. My surgery was approximately 45 mins & I did not feel a thing. Excellent Dr! He texted to make sure I was feeling okay over the weekend. And I definitely recommend.

I want to thank Dr. Gandhi and his wonderful staff for the excellent service my daughter received during her wisdom teeth extraction. Priscilla was so professional and helpful during the preoperative process. The procedure went flawless and she had a very quick recovery. In addition we had an emergency two weeks later and my 80-year-old mother experienced a very painful broken tooth. Dr. Gandhi was extremely concerned and helpful. He provided pre-medications and fit her into his schedule in a very timely manner to help eliminate her distress and pain. We are very thankful we have Dr. Gandhi and his kind staff available to manage our dental needs. The dentist and staff are very caring, compassionate, sweet, trustworthy, and amazing. They work with your needs and don’t make you feel overwhelmed at any time. Dentists scare me a lot, yet here they’ve made my experiences a hundred times more calming and safe. I’ve never had such a good experience at a dentist before like I did here. I would recommend this dentistry to everyone I know.

Absolutely the most amazing and talented people all in one building. The ladies at front are so professional and they always make sure I know exactly what work I need to do first instead of trying to have me spend a bunch of money that isn't necessary. Amaris is the best she has been there at the practice for over 15 + years just so kind and a smile every time.

South Friendswood Dental Associates is a wonderful dental office with caring and friendly people. My fear of dentists has kept me from regular dental care for years. My doctor was so understanding in helping me to get my mouth in healthy condition again. I am recommending all my family and friends to South Friendswood Dental Associates.

I walked in at 9:15 am and Dr. Mahabir started evaluating my pain and tooth problem at 9:30 am. I felt little to no pain during all the procedures. I liked the careful attention to cleanliness and patient comfort. I highly recommend SFD to anyone who is a little scared of dentist or who have had bad experiences. I'm glad I have a dentist now I can trust and go to in my community where I live and work.

If I could give more stars I would. Three days ago I had my wisdom teeth removed. By far this is the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. On the first day I went in for a cleaning and a consultation regarding the extractions. Dr Ghandi was an absolute delightful individual. He took the time to go step by step on all that needed to be done, showing me the x rays so I could understand completely. He even cleaned my teeth since the higenist was out of the office. I'm sure he could sense my anxiety and made sure to customize a wonderful pre-op plan to put me at ease. The day of the surgery went as smooth as can be. His staff goes beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Post op was a breeze. My pain was well managed, and following his instructions have left me problem free. I waited so long to have this procedure simply out of fear. If you're looking for a great dentist whom will treat you like you're family Dr. Ghandi is your man.

My most recent cleaning and work done at South Frienswood Dental Associates was excellent. I had quite a few questions for the doctor and the answers to my questions were very helpful. I suppose it might even be a good idea if I came more often.

The whole crew at South Friendswood Dental is phenomenal. They are as nice and professional as can be. During my procedure, my pain was virtually nonexistent and I felt minimal pain the next day. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Excellent office and Dr. Ghandi is top notch! I happen to have stumbled apon this office because I was having a dental emergency. I called and was seen as a new patient right away. Upon entering the practice I felt the waiting area was nicely appointed and comforting with plenty of indivual seating. There was also flat screen TV and many choices if magazines to look thru. I was immediately greeted by Angie the office manger and other very friendly office staff. Was also handed all neccesarrly paperwork. Once in a room I was introduced to Flora, a dental assistant who was very kind, comforting and knowledgable. She immediately took X-rays so as too not waste time. Dr. Ghandi then came in and welcomed me and went over my history and his findings. Everything was explained to me in detail and there was even a estimate of my portion of cost after ins for what needed to be done. Was happy to know up front! Dr. Ghandi was efficient yet delicate and I never felt a thing, well except for the numbing shot but that's totally unavoidable. I was in and out of pain in 11/2 hours. The doctor even called me the next day to follow up. That was Two years ago and have been with them ever since. They are also wonderful to my 4 children and have a great play area to keep a watchful eye on them. I have never met a friendlyer office or doctor. Great location too!

Excellent Patient Service! I have never had anything but excellent service at this dentist office! I went by yesterday just to inquire about an appointment for teeth whitening. Not only did they answer all my questions but they got me in right then! Trays will be ready in 2 days which is fantastic!

My follow up visit report I went in for the initial visit leaving extremely happy with the staff at Friendswood Dental. The second visit was just as pleasing as they fit my temporary crowns. Yet the fitting of my new crowns, "well" this was the icing on the cake. My crowns fit perfect! I realize that my reports seem glowing and exaggerated. Dr, Gandhi Has Warm Hands While the dentist's office is not at the top of the places I like to visit, I have found South Friendswood Dental to be both professional and pleasant. In addition to warm hands, Dr. Gandhi sometimes even chuckles at my attempts to use humor to relieve the self-imposed angst I experience while in the chair.

South Friendswood Dental has the friendliest and most efficient staff I have ever experienced in a dental office. I came in with an emergency abscess tooth and they took great care of me immediately and on a holiday weekend. They stayed will past their scheduled time that day to make sure I was able to have pain relief until my next visit. They have worked with my financial situation and are always friendly and courteous. Treat yourself by visiting these fine folks in Friendswood.

Just great!!! This is a wonderful dental office with caring, friendly, people. My fear of dentists has kept me from regular dental care for years. Dr. Sasha was so understanding in helping me to get my mouth in healthy condition again. I am reccommending all my family and friends to this office.

Satisfying Your establishment was clean warm and friendly surroundings.
Thankful Being new to the area with some painful dental work that needed to be addressed asap, I cold called SFD for help, they got me in right away! Finding the office was easy and there was plenty of parking. Upon arrival the office staff greeted me and was prepared with paperwork. As I filled it out I noticed how comforting the waiting area felt, plenty of currant magazines, large flat screen tv, calming rich colors. Once ready they brought me back, introduced themselves, asked what had brought me in, did a history, blood pressure check, and took x-rays. Then Dr. G came in, shook my hand, and asked what was going on so he could help. He explained to me my course of action and was prepared to follow through immediately. :) The office staff was very efficient and had a financial advisor come in with a print out of all the procedures, charges, insurance contribution, and then my portion which they explained could be broken up. I really liked this as dental work is not cheap and I'd rather know the costs upfront. As the work began Dr. G and his assistant worked in unicine to complete the work, all the while asking how I was doing. The job ended up being worse then he thought but he was hopeful and kind. I have terrible teeth and I am seriously embarrassed by them, in fact if I could change one thing it would be my teeth. The Dr never made me feel bad, he concentrated on how to help with confidence and care. SFD will be my new dental office, many thanks for all their help!!

Great Cracked the crowns on my front teeth and I needed to get replacements since I had a 3 week business trip in a few days. They got me in and I had temporary crowns within 2 hours. Perment crowns will be put on after my trip. Thanks Dr. Gandhi :)

Great practice I have moved from Friendswood a year and a half ago, but my whole family is coming back here for dental care despite the 60 miles drive.
I have a LOT of problems. The staff proposed treatment, clearly and patiently explained it, and was ready at the appointed time. Everyone was quite gentle and encouraging with me, and, while my first session lasted a long time, I don't know how it could have gone better.

Very professional and organized I was very nervous when I got there but the dental assistent took very good care of me and did a wonderful job preparing me for the procedure. I had 2 root canals done on my front two teeth(very sensitive area), however the Dentist was effecient and gentle. The whole process took maybe 2 hrs.
The Doctor and his Staff are Always professional, polite and very friendly. I liken my appointments to just having visited a very exclusive Five Star Hotel. You feel very well taken care of and all questions or concerns are addressed on the spot. I like that very much.

He is truly a passionate and well trained professional. He made me feel very comfortable about the extractions that I just had performed on me yesterday.
